Welcome to Hunting for a Cure

Hunting for a Cure 2012 is right around the corner...........

Make your plans now to attend Hunting for a Cure 2012.

Hunting for a Cure would like to express sincere sympathy to Joe Shults of Drury Outdoors in the passing of his son Evan. Please pray for this family as they go through this difficult time. Joe has been a member of our HFAC family for several years.

Update on Aaron........ He is home!!!! Please continue to pray for our young friend as he continues his fight! We love you, Aaron!!!

Once again, we are asking for prayers for one of our own. Aaron Bell will be having surgery Tuesday, September 13th to remove tumors from his spine. Please pray for Aaron and his family as they face this journey. We at Hunting For A Cure, love Aaron, Chris, and Kristi and wish them the best and want them to know they are in our prayers!

Hunting For A Cure had a booth at the Hardin County Fair again this year, where we asked for donations for a chance to win a shotgun. We had the firearm on display each night. The winner of the gun, which was donated by Sure Match, was Mr. Jim Kerr of Savannah. Mr. Kerr then donated the gun to Hunting For A Cure and we will have this fine firearm in our auction at the 2012 Event in March. Thanks to all who donated and to Mr Kerr for donating the gun back to us!!!!!

Madison Morrett, a 10-year-old from Harrisburg, Pa., has made and sold camo bracelets for the past 2 years. She has generously donated 1/2 of her sales to Hunting For A Cure. What a wonderful gesture from an awesome young lady!
Thank you Madison from all of us at Hunting For A Cure.!!!!!!

For those of you who have asked about Bro. Dave, he is now out and about and doing much better after his heart surgery. Thanks for your prayers and concern!

We all had a great time once again at HFAC at Savannah, TN. My hunter this year was ten year old Justin Hopper, tagging along were his dad Brent and timber manager Kirk Rutledge. Kirk and I scouted Friday and had a plan A and plan B ready for Saturday. Plan A failed and plan B was looking like a longshot when we set up looking at 3 longbeards and 8 hens across a big pasture. Had to crawl under a barb wire fence to place Killer B decoy and one She Mobile hen decoy about ten yards out in the pasture. Started gobbling and yelping hard and the gobblers were responding well. The hens went away into the woods and the gobblers came running. They postured behind Killer B and Justin laid one to rest with his 20 gauge. This was his first turkey, weighed 22lbs and sported 9.75" beard. Can't say enough about this event, all procedes go to St. Jude Research Hospital. The Primos crew faired well with our hunters, many stories, laughs and good times for a great cause.
